We are thrilled to announce that Gatorball will host a new U-16 International Team for two weeks this summer, called the “Stars.“ The new Stars team is an expansion of last summer’s very successful experiment, where Moose Baseball worked with New Generation Foundation to host four young Hungarian players for 4 weeks of full immersion baseball. This Summer’s Stars will entirely be comprised of U-16 players from Hungary, Slovakia, and other EIB*-sponsored players to Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia and Ukraine. The US State Department Office of Sports Diplomacy is very supportive this initiative. (*European Inter-league Baseball Association)
The Stars will be coached by Wilson 2015 grad, Will Gibson, who played at Gettysburg College – and last summer played for the Pro-Am Budapest Reds – and Hundley Poulson, who played at St. Albans and recently graduated from Princeton University.
