Gatorball Baseball Academy is the place for baseball players, age 5-18, to learn the game of baseball, build on their existing skill set, and become the best player they can possibly be.

I. Private Lessons

Individual Lessons (1 on 1)

One hour sessions where one athlete receives hitting, pitching, or position focused defensive instruction from one instructor.

Group Lessons (2 on 1)

One hour sessions where 2 athletes receive hitting, pitching, or position focused defensive instruction from one instructor.

    • Who can get a lesson?

Any player, beginner to advanced can begin taking lessons. Each private lesson will be
molded to fit your individual needs.

    • How do I schedule a lesson?

Lessons are available Monday thru Friday, 6:00pm-8:00pm. (summer: 10am-6pm)
*Weekend lessons may be scheduled based on instructor availability.

  • How often should my child get a lesson?

For optimal results, a client should get a lesson at least once per week until they are
consistently satisfied with their game production.

In order to maintain satisfactory results, a client should continue to get lessons on a
consistent basis for the duration of their baseball career.

II. Camps

Throughout the year, Gatorball will host camps and clinics for interested youth of all ages and levels of ability. Individual camp details and registration forms can be found under the “camps” tab. Upcoming events will be listed on the left hand side of the home page. Unless otherwise noted, all camps and clinics will be held at Fort Reno.

What should players bring with them to camps and/or clinics?

Players should always wear full baseball attire: baseball pants, t-shirt, belt, baseball socks and a baseball hat. Players should also bring their baseball gear (cleats, glove, bat, helmet, catching gear (if applicable) and a drink. (Note: Players should also bring sneakers or turf shoes for hitting drills taking place on turf areas)

If bad weather occurs, how will I know if the camp or clinic is cancelled?
Weather cancellations will be communicated on our Gatorball website homepage:
www.gatorballtraining.com, on our Gatorball Facebook page, and an email will be sent out (when possible).

Please only call to find out about cancellations if absolutely necessary!

Who will be running the camp?

All camps and clinics will be conducted by the Gatorball Baseball staff instructors and former academy team players. Current academy team players (ages 16-18) may serve as additional instructors.
